Mr. Aguirre has a degree in Electric Engineering and a MS in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) Lima, Peru.

In addition, he has a specialization in Energy Economics from Instituto de Economía Energética, Bariloche Argentina. Mr. Aguirre is a member of the Engineers Association of Peru. Before joining Aluz, Mr. Aguirre worked for Ministerio de Energía y Minas, Electrowatt, Dessau Soprin and ABR Ingenieros. Mr. Aguirre is in charge of the development of Potrero and Roca Grande projects.
